Fishing At Lake Cuyamaca
Lake Cuyamaca is an angler's paradise!
It's location, about an hour from anywhere in San Diego County, makes it perfect for a day trip filled with
fishing and relaxation.
At 4,600 feet, the climate is colder in the winter and throughout the year, allowing us to be San Diego County’s only year-round trout fishery.
With a valid Lake Cuyamaca fishing permit and a CA State Fishing License, fishing is allowed from an hour before sunrise until an hour after sunset.
NIGHT FISHING IS NOT ALLOWED.
